From Badu's, "Didn't Cha Know?" to Common's, "The Light" to A Tribe Called Quest's, "Find A Way", Dilla's music is truly that of a generation. His work with Slum Village, D'Angelo, Busta Rhymes, The Pharcyde, and even Janet Jackson further reveal and solidify the impact of his gift. The J Dilla Tribute features a live band, complete with horns and samplers, reproducing some of J Dilla's best work. Past performers include Kev Brown, Raheem Devaugn, Wes Felton, Wayna and Dilla-centric talents such as Phife, Pete Rock, Ma Dukes & Kweli (Dilla Day at XM Studios), Dwele and Slum Village. The 2010 Goal is $10,000.00.
